Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 April 2026 · Effective date: 21 April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones Nuwall Wallpapers Pvt. Ltd. ("Piwall") uses on the piwall.in website and in the Piwall mobile app, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or app you visit. They help the site recognise your device and remember information about your visit (such as your preferred language, login state, or cart contents). Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, device identifiers, SDK-level caches, and server-side logging.

2. Categories of cookies we use

a. Strictly necessary

Essential for the Services to function. Without them, features such as login, secure checkout, and the shopping cart would not work. Examples: session tokens, CSRF-protection cookies, and load-balancer cookies.

b. Preferences

Remember your choices (for example, preferred language, dismissed banners, or whether you have read the app announcement). These improve your experience but the Service will still work without them.

c. Analytics and performance

Help us understand how users find and use the Services so we can improve them. We use anonymised or pseudonymised data wherever possible. Examples: Google Analytics (web), Firebase Crashlytics (mobile), and our own server-side product-interaction logs.

d. Third-party and embedded services

When you make a payment, some data is routed through Razorpay or ICICI Bank EasyPay, which set their own cookies on their payment pages for fraud prevention and transaction integrity. Embedded YouTube videos (if any) and social plug-ins may also set third-party cookies governed by their respective policies.

e. Mobile app identifiers

The Piwall app uses device-level storage (MMKV / Secure Storage) to hold your login token, app preferences, and offline catalog. Push-notification tokens issued by Apple (APNs) or Google (FCM) are stored on our servers so we can deliver order-status notifications.

3. Managing cookies and similar technologies

You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings:

  • On the web: Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break core features such as login and checkout.
  • On mobile: You can clear app data and cache from your device's app-management settings, and you can disable push notifications from the system notification settings for Piwall.
  • Location: You can revoke location permission at any time from your device settings. The App will still work, but address auto-fill features may be limited.

4. Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser or sign out of the app. Persistent cookies and similar identifiers are retained for no longer than necessary for the purpose stated, and in any case not longer than the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

6. Contact
